Infants: Caterpillar Room
Welcome to the Caterpillar room! In our room, development begins at 6 weeks and continues until we are ready to transition to the one year old classroom. Contrary to popular belief, we understand that babies do more than just lie around, eat and sleep!
In our classroom we will care for your child’s basic needs while preparing them for upcoming developmental milestones such as sitting, walking, crawling and eating independently. We will strengthen these skills through daily use of tummy time, songs/dance, and activities upon readiness).
Due to the “on demand” need of infants, each little one in our classroom will be assigned to a primary caregiver- one of our excellent infant staff to monitor and record your child’s eating, diapering and sleeping habits for the day. Upon departure for the day, you will be provided with a daily report sheet so you know your babies every move.
