Q: What is the average cost of childcare in Essex county?
A: In high-cost New Jersey, the median full-time daycare bill for an infant is $1,040 per-month, according to a recent state survey. And some parents will consider that laughably low because costs are significantly higher depending on where you live and the type of care you want.

Q: What type of curriculum do you use?
A: Our center basis our curriculum off the Creative Curriculum platform. We however are open minded and have used what works best for our center, community, and children alike.

Q: What is your child to caregiver ratio?
A: Our center ratio strictly follows the NJ Department of children and Families mandatory guidelines. In addition, our center directors and assistant directors provide an oversight to ensure curriculum, manipulatives, and an overall professional function is maintained throughout the day.

Q: What security measures do you take for your facility?
A: In addition to maintaining proper ratios of care givers, HD 1080p cameras are located throughout the facility to ensure integrity, as well as monitored entry by buzzer. Smoke and carbon detectors are also placed throughout in compliance with the township fire department.

Q: How, and how often, do you sanitize the toys and materials used by the children?
A: Throughout the day if a manipulative is used it is then placed into a bin to be desterilized. As well, due to changes in our society with the coronavirus we will be conducting a static spray desterilization of the entire center on a monthly basis.

Q: What degrees or certifications does your staff have? What training do they have?
A: At our core, our staff has a genuine love for children and are first viewed as protectors, and educators. Our teachers have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field, and are encouraged to obtain a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential if not already acquired. Our assistant and Center directors all have varying college degrees from English majors to Early childhood education, combining over 25+ years of Early Childhood education experience.

Q: Do you conduct background checks on all your employees?
A: As Per NJ State regulations all employees receive a CARI (Child Abuse Record Information) background check as well as fingerprinted through the federal database at the time of employment.
